During summer I like to wear brighter lipsticks. I've recently being loving the Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in 'Peach on the Beach' which can be brought from Boots for £7.99. It has a really creamy formula that lasts a long time on the lips - great for hot summer days!

When the weather's hot I like to wear my hair up and out of my face. When I was in my local Primark I picked up one of these floral hairbands for £2 and I think it makes you look like you've made a bit of an effort with your hair. 

Early this month, Nivea kindly sent me some free samples of their new 'in-shower' body moisturiser. If your anything like me (lazy) you'll love this! Instead of using a body moisturiser after the shower, after using your normal body wash apply the 'in-shower' body moisturiser, rinse and your done!

Another favourite of mine this month has been MAC Sketch eyeshadow. I've had this eyeshadow for quite a while but to be honest I haven't worn it that much. I have to admit I'm not one for wearing colours other than various shades of brown but this colour did grab me. When on the eyes, it adds a really subtle purple colour.

Lately I've been really into skincare. If you want to know more, check out the two posts I did here and here. The Simple Moisturising Facial Wash is really great for sensitive skin and is really inexpensive. Great for young skin and those on a budget.

I haven't been on holiday yet so while everyone is looking nice and tanned I'm still pale.The Dove Summer Glow tinted body moisturiser is a gradual tan. I prefer these sort of tanning products because you're less likely to go too dark. The Dove one is my favourite and it's always on offer in Superdrug and Boots this time of year.
